Welcome to massage4u – the website of Andy Batters (B Sc. (hons), LCM A Dip). I am a Massage Therapist, based at The Massage Room, Thomas More Square, London, E1. On this site you will find information about me and my work.

I practice deep tissue therapeutic massage and remedial massage. I trained at The London College of Massage (LCM) and hold their Diploma in Therapeutic Massage and Advanced Diploma in Remedial Massage.

From an early age I had an interest in health and medical matters, which resulted in me studying for a degree in Pharamacology. By the time I graduated I had realised that a life in a lab wasn’t for me and, having worked my way through college in the restaurant business, ended up as a restaurant manager. Although I enjoyed it, I allways felt there was something missing in my work life.

People often ask how I got started studying massage. Well, about fifteen years ago I only went along to a LCM “taster evening” to keep a friend company; at that point I began to find the ‘something’ that I was missing and one thing led to another…

Over the years I have continued my study of massage by taking part in post graduate workshops. As part of my I went to a Thai Yoga Massage workshop at Quantum Metta School of Massage and have since gone on to become an advanced practitioner & teacher of Traditional Thai Yoga Massage.
